Chtělo by to seznam vydání té Clintockovy knihy, protože to, z čeho cituji, je nějaká americká verze pod mírně jiným názvem a je v tom celkově zmatek. Zmínka je zde https://www.illuminator.blog/p/edwards.html, cituji: McClintock, Francis Leopold.

Úprava trasy

Trasa zakreslená na mapě je evidentně značně nepřesná (např. míjí Booth Point), je třeba upravit podle textu článku a originálu.

Výhledově by to chtěla zakomponovat taky Hobsonovu trasu (jako samostatnou linii).

Itinerář, jak vyplývá z líčení:

• 15.5. přešli na ostrov Montreal (encamped in a little bay upon the N.E. side of Montreal Island).
• 18.5. crossed over to the mainland [poloostrov Adelaide] near Point Duncan. Po utáboření tam byl McC. "exploring along the shore towards[245] Elliot Bay" (tj. zřejmě směrem k jihu, viz https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/13872758#map=10/67.6604/-96.0047 )
• 19.5. večer "we commenced our return journey, but for the three following weeks our route led us over new ground.* (tj. nešli po svých stopách)
• Někdy potom (neudává datum) "Having searched the east shore of this land for 7 or 8 miles further north, we crossed over into Barrow's Inlet, and spent a day in its examination" (ttps://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/13872753#map=10/68.1579/-96.3583 )

Záhadný Point Duncan (s. 245) - nikde není k dohledání.
